- What you send through the contact form, the teardown form, or the chat assistant: your name, email, website address, and message
- Standard request data your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, which the hosting provider logs
- Usage statistics: which pages are visited and where visitors arrive from
How it is used
- To reply to your enquiry and carry out the work you ask for
- To see which pages are useful, so the site can be improved
- To keep the site secure, including rate limits that stop form spam
How it is protected
- Your details are never sold or rented
- They are shared only with the service providers listed below, each of which runs part of this site
- Form messages arrive by email over encrypted connections and are kept in a private inbox
- Access to enquiries is limited to Muhammad Idrees
Cookies
- The only cookies set are Google Analytics' (_ga, and _ga_ followed by an ID), used to count returning visitors
- Vercel Web Analytics counts visits without cookies
- This site shows no ads
- You can block cookies in your browser settings, or with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on
Third-party services
These services each run part of the site:
- Vercel
- Hosts the site and serves every page. Vercel Web Analytics counts visits without cookies.
- Google Analytics
- Measures which pages are visited and how visitors arrive, using the cookies described above.
- Resend
- Delivers contact and teardown form messages to Muhammad Idrees' inbox.
- Google Gemini
- Writes the chat assistant's replies. Messages you type in the chat are sent to Google for that purpose and are not stored by this site.
- Calendly
- Handles call bookings, only if you choose to book one. Calendly's own privacy policy applies there.
Your rights
Under data protection law, you can:
- Access
- Ask for a copy of the personal data I hold about you.
- Correction
- Ask for inaccurate personal data to be corrected.
- Deletion
- Ask for your personal data to be deleted.
- Portability
- Ask for your data to be transferred to another service.
- Objection
- Object to your personal data being processed.
How long data is kept
Personal information is kept only as long as the purposes in this policy need it. Contact form submissions are usually kept for up to two years as business correspondence.
