How I work.

  • You talk to the person doing the work

    There is no account manager and no junior to hand you over to. I reply within one business day, and progress arrives as links to working builds you can click through.

  • Search is part of the build

    Titles, structured data, and redirects are planned before the design, so a new site starts out findable and a rebuild keeps the rankings the old site earned.

  • Scope is written down before work starts

    Website builds typically start at £750. I confirm the scope in writing once I have seen the site, the content, and anything it has to connect to.

  • You own everything at the end

    The repository, the deployment, and written notes on where to change what. The site never depends on me to keep running.

  • I use AI tools, and I check their work

    Codex and Claude Code speed up the typing. Every change still goes through code review, tests, and a check on the live site before it counts as done.

From WordPress builds to Next.js sites and apps.

The stack today is React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with Tailwind CSS for styling and Node.js and PostgreSQL behind it, plus whatever the business already depends on: payment gateways, CRMs, and third-party APIs.

    Independent, as Idreesworks

    Websites, online stores, and web apps for businesses, including Next.js rebuilds and migrations that keep their rankings, and two mobile apps taken through App Store review.

  2. 2021 to 2022

    Front-end work on SaaS products

    Interfaces and responsive web apps, improving usability and front-end structure. My first client migrations with redirect maps, and working with clients directly instead of through agency briefs.

  3. 2020 to 2021

    Client websites

    Agency-style work, mostly WordPress and static builds, before moving to React.
